My local GW store is hosting a game on Sat. May 29th. w00t! Plus, the store manager is organizing the thing-- not going to be just a 'large game'. He's going to approve army lists n' stuff. Yay! This will probably lead to a 'fair' game. Often, my problem with Apoc is that people cheese their force out, but they don't really have theme. Just a bunch of combos to make/break the rules.
The limit per person in this game is 5000 points.
So far, what I am brining:
Deathknell Orbital Strike Force:
5 Terminator Squads (25 Terminators) and a Dreadnought.
2 Assault Cannons, 2 Hv Flamers, 3 Chainfists, and 5 Thunder Hammers.
Lucifer Armored Task Force:
1 Tactical Squad in a Redeemer, 1 Captain (still working on a name), 2 Predator Annihilators, and a Baal Predator.
Damocles Command Rhino
Allies:
Knight Titan: Lancer
Comes out to 2850 points. Room for 2150 more points...
2 More Tactical squad, along with a foot Assault Squad. 7 foot Death Company and foot Honor Guard. Razorback, Vindicator, and Stormraven.
I have 8 Terminator Characters. 1 Librarian, 1 Sanguinary Priest and 6 Masters. 3 of which could be easily just added to the Assault Terminator Squad in the Deathknell Strike Force (2 Lightning Claws, and a TH+SS). One Terminator, my Chapter Master Deadra, needs to be cleaned up- his weapons are not as good as I once thought...
And a Techmarine with servitors.
